Students of the Economics Program have a minimum cumulative study load of 144 credits and a maximum of 160 credits scheduled for an 8-semester study period and can be completed in less than 8 (eight) semesters with a maximum study limit of 14 semesters.
In semesters I to IV, students of the Economics Program are required to take a series of Compulsory Courses of 83 credits, including 11 credits of compulsory university courses. In semesters V to VII, students can choose to take internal or external education programs. Students who choose internal education programs will be offered Elective Courses (MKP), which can be taken according to their interests, which in the curriculum are referred to as “Internal Study Programs”. Meanwhile, students who take external programs can use their MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) rights by taking courses across programs or universities, either in Indonesia or abroad, or doing activities within the MBKM framework, which can be converted as credits for the course.
In semester V, students are also allowed to carry out KKN (Community Services Program) after taking lectures for a minimum of 80 credits. After attending a minimum of 121 credits of lectures, students must return to the Program in semester VIII to prepare for the final project (a thesis or publication). Before writing a thesis, students must pass a comprehensive exam which is regularly scheduled twice a month. Students can apply for an undergraduate viva after completing the entire series of learning and the final project.
