Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka
After the completion of all compulsory courses in semester 4, students have the alternative to study under MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) framework, which includes 8 (eight) activities outside the campus such as Internships/Industrial Practices, Projects in the Village, Student Exchange, Research, Entrepreneurship, Independent Studies/Projects, Humanitarian Projects and Teaching in Schools. Under Permendikbud Number 3 of 2020 on National Standards for Higher Education, University is required to give students the right to voluntarily (can be taken or not) the following activities:
- Earning credits outside the university for 2 (two) semesters, or
- Earning credits in different study programs at the same university for 1 (one) semester.
Students who take one of the activities in the MBKM Program must report their activities to Program Coordinator to ensure the appointment of 1 (one) Supervisor to guarantee the conversion process at the end of the semester. In addition, Partner Institutions will assign Mentor to help students with the whole process of MBKM activities. At the end of the internship period, students must submit MBKM reports to Supervisor as the basis for the conversion process. Once the Supervisor approves the report, students can get a maximum conversion of 20 credits. The assessment components in MBKM activities are:
1. Internship Activity Report
The Internship Reports will be converted into courses "Internship in Economics" (3 credits) or "Contemporary Issues in Economics" (3 credits).
2. Reflection Report and Routine Assessment
Internship Reflection Reports and Routine Assessments will be converted into "Business Networking" (2 credits)
3. Evaluation Form
The assessment on the Evaluation Form is given by the Mentor and converted into the course "Character and Soft Skills Development " (3 credits).
4. Professional Internship Report
To complete the conversion process of MBKM activities into 20 credits, students must prepare 4 (four) Professional Internship Reports. Each report will be converted into 3 (three) credits of courses that refer to elective courses.

Teaching Assistant
While studying, students of the Economics Program can become part of the Teaching Assistant (TA) and Research Assistant (RA). The TA lead practicums in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Statistics for Economics and Business, and Econometrics courses. The recruitment process is organized 2 (two) times a year to find the best candidates who master selected courses and have good public speaking skills. Students can follow Microeconomics and Macroeconomics TA recruitment with a minimum grade of B in each course. The recruitment process for Econometrics TA can be engaged by students who have passed the Introductory Econometrics and Advanced Econometrics courses: Time Series Econometrics or Microeconometrics. The recruitment process of Statistics for Economics and Business TA is suitable for students who have graduated from the respected course.
Prospective Teaching Assistants will undergo a series of tests which consists of administrative selection, written tests, interviews, and presentation. The TA of Statistics for Economics and Business must have the ability to use data processing software, such as SPSS and MS Excel, while Econometrics TA must pass the STATA test.

Registration of Comprehensive Examinations

Student Exchange
Students who take part in student exchange activities abroad, either independently or within the MBKM program, are required to report to the Program Coordinator to facilitate the conversion process at the end of the semester by filling out the following link:
